Rudolf Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics
The Rudolf Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics comprises three overlapping groups: Astro-Plasmas, Condensed Matter, and Particle Theory.
The Centre currently hosts 24 academics, 3 long-term research fellows: Andrei Constantin, Frederic Dreyer and Sam Witte funded by the Royal Society and Takato Yoshimura, All Souls Fellow, 24 postdocs and 60+ research students. In addition eight emeritus members are associated with the Centre: James Binney FRS, Frank Close, Dame Carole Jordan FRS, Sir Chris Llewellyn Smith FRS, Subir Sarkar, David Sherrington FRS and Mike Teper
